Both numbers come from official Volusia County sources, and both are still published. The 680 figure reflects the current annual report, while 595 reflects the older facility page. Treat 680 as the current rated capacity and 595 as the historical one. How to Look Up an Inmate at the Correctional Facility

There is no separate roster for the Correctional Facility alone. Both county jail buildings use the same public tool, the Volusia County Division of Corrections Inmate Inquiry. The public profile does not show a housing unit or a building field, so a search confirms that a person is booked into the county jail system but does not reveal which of the two buildings holds them. Booking and Intake for the Correctional Facility
